What's Miho no Matsubara(三保の松原)?



Miho no Matsubara is famous for the scenic view of the perfect combination of Mt.Fuji(富士山) and 7km pine trees.
There are 54,000 pine trees on the shore.
One of them is 650 years old pine tree which is called "Hagoromo no matsu" as the legend of Hagoromo ("The Feathered Robe").
On the new years day, many people visit this place to see the sunrise.

Access:
From Tokyo station
Ride Shinkansen Hikari from Tokyo station to Shizuoka station (about 1 hour,5670 Yen(about 56USD)).
Ride JR Tokaido Honsen from Shizuoka to Shimizu station (about 10min).
Ride the local bus from Shimizu station to Miho no Matsubara Iriguchi stop (about 25min).
Walk for 10min.
