もみじ回廊 夜

Autumn has arrived in Japan, as the colors of the leaves around us start to shift into bright red and yellow. There are many autumn leaves spots in Japan, and one of the most stunning ones lies right next to the symbol of Japan- Mount Fuji!

Just situated right next to Lake Kawaguchi, one of the 5 Fuji Lakes, Momiji Kairo (Walkway of Red Leaves) turns into a magical scene in autumn. The entire "walkway" is dyed in red by the beautiful maple leaves as you walk into a world of enchantment!

The peak season is from early Nov to mid Nov, though you will get to see red leaves till the end of November.

How to get there?

Take the Fuji Express Line to Kawaguchiko Station.

From Kawaguchiko Station, take the Kawaguchiko Retro Bus and alight at Kubota Itchiku Museum Bus Stop.

Momiji Kairo is a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.
