Answer: No, it's part of Sensoji temple and Sensoji is a Buddhist temple. Originating from India, it is believed that when the Buddha passed away, his body was cremated and the ashes were divided and given to eight major Indian tribes. The ashes were laid out in a tower called a stupa, also known as a five storied pagoda, built by each tribe.
