Answer:
Maccha is a special powdered green tee which is used for
chya-no-yu, the tea ceremony. The tea ceremony, Sado which literary
means the way of tea, was introduced to Japan from China and perfected by
Master Sen-no-Rikyu based on the spirit of Zen in the 16th century. One of
the most important concepts represents Wa-Kei-Sei-Jaku(和―敬ー清ー寂)、
harmony-respect-purity-tranquility.
