1. Easy access: 30 min. from Tokyo or 15 min. from Shinjuku by JR Chuo line.
2. Nature: only 5 min. walk will take you to the Inokashira Park. There are small zoo and aquarium.
3. 1300-year-old shrine is located in the park. It was Jomon period (10,000 B.C.-300 B.C.) when Japanese people settled down on this shore of the pond!
4. Shopping: Many attractive, individual shops as well as branch shops of large-sized electronics (Yodobashi Camera) and clothing stores (Uniqlo). We will walk around “harmonica lane” which still remains nostalgic feeling of 1950s.
5. Food: We will have a nice powdered tea and sweets at a cozy tea house near the park.
